UMIP project presented at the European Researchers’ Night 2026

On 25 September 2026, as part of the European Researchers’ Night 2026, the university institutional project "Migration Management – Experiences and Perspectives (UMIP)", IP-UNIST-50, was presented in the Council Chamber of the Faculty of Law of the University of Split.

Most of the project members took part in the presentation. They presented their research related to the project so far and their plans for further research. Although the presentation was initially planned to be held in Croatian, since we had a special guest, most of the project members decided to present their research in English.

We are especially honoured and pleased that the presentation was attended by a representative of the European Commission, Mr Zakaria Benameur (European Research Executive Agency). At the end of the presentation, Mr Benameur expressed his satisfaction with the project and suggested that we also consider applying for Horizon projects in the field of migration management.
